Office Hours @cammakespace this week is exploring crossovers between engineering and biology. Verinnogen, a new Cambridge start up will be presenting their innovations in tools for cancer research.
Please do join us each Friday at noon for peer-to-peer discussions about running real businesses: RSVP here: Officehoursgroup/join-us/
More from Verinnogen: Over 36 million tumour volume measurements are made using laboratory mice every year to evaluate critical new cancer therapies prior to clinical testing, but most of these are made using standard calipers which are known to have error as high as 27% between different users. At Verinnogen, we’ve developed a novel, quick and easy-to-use hand-held device that reduces this error to 5% in early prototype testing, with the potential of saving time, money and animals to expedite the translation of key cancer treatments.
